Fear

Fear is a vital response to phsical and emotional danger. If we couldn't feel it, we couldn't protect ourselves from legitimate threats. In simple word, fear is a feeling of being afraid of something. The fear of the old man was death. He believed in the superstition that a falling star means death that's why when a boy was shouting "A star fell down" he begun to sweat and stopped breathing because of the fear of death. I think the faer of the old man was normal beacuse death is something that every one has fear of and its just normal to every human being. Death is something that we are always expecting in our everyday life.

Phobias are one of the most common disorders, affecting approximately many people, not suprisingly. A specific phobia is a fear of a specific  object or event. For example the old man has a phobia of the thunder storm.
